Hi Troy,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's my pleasure to assist you with your dining question.
'Ohana is my family's very favorite restaurant and a "must do" when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. As a mom of two picky boys, I can certainly understand your concern. Although my boys have always preferred meals like mac and cheese, chicken fingers and pizza, they truly love the Polynesian-inspired offerings such as ‘Ohana Pineapple-Coconut Bread, Teriyaki Noodles and Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings at 'Ohana. We have previously dined with friends who requested "kid friendly" options for their daughter, and she was able to order chicken fingers and fries. I've always found the servers to be very accommodating especially when it comes to children with food preferences or restrictions. I would not hesitate to ask your server if your son can order something more "kid friendly" if he does not like the regular menu selections.
Guests may begin booking dining reservations 180 days in advance by calling Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463, by
going online or via My Disney Experience mobile app. If you're planning an upcoming trip, be sure to book your dining reservations as soon as possible. 'Ohana is a very popular dining location and often books up several months in advance.
I hope this information has been helpful, Troy. When dining at 'Ohana, be sure to pace yourself. You will definitely want to save room for the famous ‘Ohana Bread Pudding à la mode topped with caramel sauce and bananas. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any new questions. Best wishes for a magical trip!
Bon Appétit,
Jodie
