    Do Veterans get a discount and if so, how many tickets can they purchase for family members to go as a group.(spouse, children, and in laws

    Hi there, Linda!

    Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your question! Veterans (depending on status) can qualify to purchase two ticket types for Walt Disney World vacations. The Disney Military Salute tickets are available for Veterans who retired from service or are 100% disabled. Veterans with an honorable discharge can purchase Magic Your Way tickets, which are slightly discounted theme park tickets. Both of these tickets can be purchased at your local military base's ITT/MWR office, or through Shades of Green Resort. At this time, the 2025 renewal of the Salute tickets hasn't been announced, but I hope to hear news about it very soon! Follow the Disney Parks Blog, and Disney Parks on Instagram and Facebook for all the magical updates!

    Veterans who qualify for Salute tickets can only purchase up to six Salute tickets per year. This includes their spouse. For example, I purchased three Salute tickets this year, and my husband or I can only purchase three more Salute tickets for this year. For the Magic Your Way tickets, you can there is no purchase limit. If you are traveling with a larger group, this will be your best option.
