Greetings, Neli, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited for you to spend some time at the Disneyland Resort. And of course, shopping is a fun part of any visit. You may even find some merchandise for the
70th Anniversary Celebration. Let's talk about your options when it comes to paying for your magical finds!
Neli, at this time, the Disneyland Resort does not accept Venmo as a form of payment. If you happen to have the Venmo Debit Card with a Visa or Mastercard logo, that would likely be accepted, but not the "show to pay" option. There are, however, other ways to pay with your mobile device! In fact, when I'm in the park, I almost always pay with my phone instead of bringing out a physical card.
Most
quick service dining locations, carts, and
retail shops at Disneyland and California Adventure accept tap-to-pay methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay. You can also add a credit or debit card to your Disneyland app to
mobile order food and use
merchandise mobile checkout. It's really easy! And of course, most major credit cards, cash, and Disney Gift Cards are also accepted at the Disneyland Resort.
If you'll be using your phone throughout the day, I highly recommend bringing a portable charger to keep it powered up. Don’t worry if you forget – there are kiosks around the Resort where you can
purchase a portable charger. The great thing about that is you can swap an empty charger from the kiosk for a fully powered one.
Neli, I hope you have a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
As Mickey would say, “See ya real soon!”
