Hi there, Mike. Welcome to planDisney and thanks for taking the time to drop by with your questions!
Using Disney gift cards during your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is a great way to stick to a budget. Or if you’re lucky, maybe you or your children were gifted some Disney gift cards during Christmas and you’re looking for a way to spend on merchandise or dining.
When you’re at the parks, you can use your e-Gift Card to pay for merchandise (through Merchandise Mobile Checkout) and mobile food and beverage orders on the
Disneyland Mobile App. Unfortunately, there’s no way to store your Gift Card information on the app. When prompted for payment, you’ll add the Gift Card numbers. My fellow Panelist friend, Shantel, shared a
great tip to help save you time when using your Gift Cards. You can save the Gift Card numbers in the notes section of your mobile phone. Just copy and paste the Gift Card numbers whenever you need for purchases.
Another way to pay for your merchandise is to present the eGift Card’s barcode (included in the email) to the Cast Member ringing up your purchase. You can also add your eGift Card to your mobile wallet. You can use this “tap and pay” method for your purchases as well.
If you have multiple Gift Cards, you can combine them at
DisneyGiftCard.com. You’ll sign in with your MyDisney account. It’s easy to access and manage up to 6 cards, and transfer funds into one card. From there, you can just use that one Gift Card for your payment.
I hope this information is helpful for you. Wishing you a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again.
See ya real soon,
Kiki
