Ahoy, Shantelle!
Thank you for sending in your question about your upcoming cruise aboard the beautiful
Disney Fantasy!
Dining is always one of my favorite topics when talking about cruising with Mickey, so I'm glad you asked.
Shantelle, while I'm not a vegetarian, I've definitely taken note of the options available when I've sailed with Disney Cruise Line. Once upon a time, I was quite the picky eater, but having the opportunity to try new foods when I've cruised has opened up my palate to a variety of new items. In the main dining rooms, you'll find at least two vegetarian meals offered each evening. This may be something like stir-fry vegetables over noodles or black bean chipotle cakes. Also available each night are soups, salads, and usually a couple of non-meat appetizer selections. Please be sure to let your dining team know that you are a vegetarian, and don't hesitate to ask if you have a special request. The chefs onboard are incredible, and I've seen them adapt entrees to accommodate Guests' dietary needs. Also, if you like an item you ordered on a previous night, let your server know as they are sometimes able to have those prepared for you again. Once aboard, you'll have access to all the dining menus on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You can use it to peruse the selections before arriving each evening.
Cabanas offers a buffet-style dining experience for breakfast and lunch, Shantelle. Again, I believe you'll find the vegetarian options plentiful for both meals. I've seen tofu, pizza, loads of veggies, fruits, salads, soups, and more offered during lunch. I'm excited for you to taste what the chefs have prepared each day!
It was a pleasure "sea"ing you hEAR at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We'd love to assist you again, so please let us know what other questions you may have before you cast off on your magical voyage.
