We are a vegetarian family with three children ages 7 and under. We do not eat chicken or fish and prefer to eat healthy meals three times a day. We are going to MK for 2 days, staying at CR. Do any quick service places offer vegetarian options?THanks!

    Hi Benjamin!

Good news! Vacations at Walt Disney World are one of the easiest for me to plan as a vegetarian! Every restaurant I've dined at at Walt Disney World has offered a vegetarian option. Even if I don't see anything that looks yummy on the menu, I am sure to ask my waiter/waitress. I've even found that restaurants where I've worried about my dining options at have been wonderful!

At the Magic Kingdom, here are some options that you might like to check out:
    • Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square: In addition to some very yummy salads, this counter service restaurant also offers a great vegetarian chili and a Lighthouse sandwich with hummus, tomato and broccoli slaw. If you're a pescatarian, there are also some great fish options here!
    • Baked Potatoes at the Liberty Square Market: if you're looking for a quick snack, and don't know where to turn, this is a great option! We love picking up a potato, having a seat, and people watching! This is also a great option for many fresh fruit choices as well.
    • Aloha Isle in Adventureland offers fresh pineapple spears! Yum. Also, the DoleWhip products offered here are dairy free, and a great healthy option instead of ice cream.
    • Pecos Bill in Frontierland also offers a vegetarian burger in addition to salads.
    • And, at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station, there are a few tofu options which sound great, but I haven't gotten to try yet. This restaurant is open seasonally, so depending on when you visit, it may be an option.
I hope this help! And remember, at any table service restaurant, all you need to do is ask what options are available to you as a vegetarian. Enjoy!
