Hi Alexandre,
The food at Disney World is amazing. My family dines with food allergies and we keep coming back to Disney World because they make it so easy and magical! There are plant-based entrees on almost all of the menus you will encounter but they are not all created equal. Disney has a
great guide for eating on a plant-based diet that I would check out before making any dining reservations.
Via Napoli does not advertise or promise vegan cheese as an option on their menu but I have friends who have asked for it and the restaurant was able to accommodate the use of vegan cheese on a pizza. It was only available on the individual-sized pizza with simple tomato sauce and basil as toppings. They said it was delicious but they also enjoyed the Mediterranean Salad modified to be vegan because it was full of fresh vegetables and greens. I would make sure it will be an option when you check in because it may not always be available.
Another great vegan option in EPCOT is the Plant Based Chicken Enchilada served at
La Hacienda de San Angel! It does need to be modified to remove the cheese or replace it with vegan cheese but it is really good. The big sell here is that you can also get rice and beans, delicious guacamole, and margaritas. This restaurant also has beautiful views of the water and a relaxing but fun atmosphere.
I also love
Le Cellier! It is our go-to restaurant at EPCOT and it has a wider selection of plant-based options than most of the other restaurants. The Fried Cauliflower and Whiskey Glazed Brussel Sprouts are killer and you will feel like you are back at home in Canada!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
