Heigh-Ho Kevin,
Welcome to planDisney and congratulations on your cheerleader’s BID to the upcoming Varsity Summit Cheer Competition. As we continue to move forward during 2021, this year things are a little different around
Walt Disney World and in the Competition Cheer World. And I being a former cheer parent and planDisney panelist can empathize when it comes to finalizing details.
As Walt Disney World and Varsity Spirits work together to better accommodate some of the conundrums, I suggest closely monitoring your email. Varsity has recently released an email, to their Varsity customers, addressing questions about your Walt Disney World Tickets and potentially securing/linking a
Disney Park Pass reservation, once your cheerleader has received her ticket.
To summarize the email, Varsity has asked, and I concur, families should create a
My Disney Experience account,
download the mobile app and
link the Walt Disney World tickets they currently have. Once you have received your daughter’s Walt Disney World ticket, please link it as well. Next, via your
My Disney Experience mobile app, select the menu tab in the lower right-hand corner and select
Chat With Us and message the word “Varsity.” A Cast Member will respond but keep in mind they are experiencing a high volume of questions about Varsity. When prompted explain you are looking to make Disney Park Pass reservation for your daughter, who did not receive her ticket in a timely fashion and are trying to coordinate it with your current itinerary. Cast Members will do their best to help you secure a Disney Park Pass reservation for her as well as staying within the limits of park capacity. Cast Members are trying to help Varsity out as much as possible so please, know they are doing their best and will assist and help to the best of their ability. Also, the Chat feature is not available 24hrs a day. Continue to check your email for further information and details from Varsity.
Much Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust on the upcoming competition and may your daughter’s team HIT and perform with Zero deductions.
Have a Magical Day,
Amy M.
