    Which Value Season month is the best in your olpinion, and why? Can't decide. Jan, Feb, or Aug? Excluding Sept because we can't stand the love bugs.

    So based solely on crowd levels, January is probably the best of all the months. But that is assuming that you don't go in the first week of the year, when the tail end of the holiday crowds are still there.

    August is nice if you really want your visit to be more like a typical summer vacation. However the crowds are noticeably larger, and the heat and humidity in this height of the rainy season gets up there.

    If it were me, I would opt for the last week of August, because I like to be there when it is warm and my kids can reliably go swimming every day. After that I would go in late January/early February to avoid the worst crowds and hope to get lucky with unseasonably warm weather.
