What value resorts have queen size beds and have been updated?

Hey, Sheryle! This is such a great question, one that I was just recently checking out myself for an upcoming stay with our daughters! Walt Disney World Resort has enhanced several of the resorts in the previous few years. One of my favorite enhancements has been spreading across the Disney Value Resorts - queen-size beds! At this time, guest rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort and select rooms at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort have made the transition to the larger beds during their respective refurbishments. I really like the changes that were made and find that the rooms seem much more spacious, thanks to an InnovaBed. While one traditional queen bed remains in the rooms, the other bed is a murphy-style bed that converts to a small table when folded up against the wall. This gives you tons of extra space, especially in the morning while everyone is getting ready for a fun day in the parks.

If you want to make sure you receive a guest room with queen-size beds, then I recommend you go with Disney's Pop Century Resort, as it has completely finished its room enhancements. If you do go with Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, then you may want to request a room in the Love Bug, Fantasia, or Toy Story buildings (buildings 6-10). However, please note that any requests are simply that and cannot be guaranteed. The best way to put in a request is to call the Disney Resort Reservations line and ask for them to put a request for a refurbished room in as a note on your reservation. You can also complete Online Check-In and see if certain resort sections pop up as a request check box. Again, these are simply requests. If you want to be assured of a queen-size bed, then I recommend you go with Disney's Pop Century Resort or look at the Disney Moderate Resorts. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is one of my favorite places to recommend!

Thanks for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
