Welcome back to planDisney Regina.
This is a great question. I travel often, for work as well as trips "home" to
Walt Disney World Resort and health and safety measures are always on my mind nowadays.
From the moment Disney World reopened, they have been very intentional with their approach to
COVID-19 health and safety procedures. While they encourage all Guests to get vaccinated, they do not require proof of vaccination status to visit the theme parks, stay at the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels or visit
Disney Springs. Additionally, face coverings are not required. They are optional but are recommended for Guests who are not fully vaccinated, especially in indoor locations and enclosed transportation. During our last few visits, we saw a good mixture of Guests who continue to wear face coverings and we kept ours with us for situations where the crowds seemed heavier in a specific area. Walt Disney World Resort continues to monitor all trends and regulations and may change their safety measures if needed. Therefore, I suggest checking for any updates prior to your arrival.
I hope this helps with your travel plans. If I can assist with any additional planning questions, I hope you will stop back and
see me.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
