Hi, We are vacationing in Orlando in April with 8 kids, ages 16, 15, 13, 10, 9, 6, 6, & 2 . We are interested in doing a character breakfast or dinner. Any suggestions on ones that would be interesting to all the children, not just the younger

Hi, Jamie!  It has always surprised me how much my oldest daughter, who is now 18, enjoyed the character meals.  I think the best ones are the ones that don't have "face" characters.  For some reason, I think older kids feel a little bit less cool making a fuss over Cinderella or Snow White, but the costumed characters give them a bit more anonymity to be all giddy and excited!

My daughter's favorite characters are Eeyore and Tigger, so the Crystal Palace has always been a family favorite.  She is lately favoring Goofy, though, and one of the best meals we've had with Goofy was the Cape May Character Buffet at the Beach Club Resort.  Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is another family favorite, and if the older kids are a bit uncomfortable with the characters, they can always make a beeline for the buffet when they see them coming!

I hope your vacation is absolutely magical!
