I will be vacationing with my family which includes my 3 year old grandson. I have worries he will take his Magic Band off unbeknownst to any of the adults. Does WDW sell any type of clip to prevent a 3 year from removing his Magic Band?

    Hi Sue!

Your trip is coming up really quickly.  I bet you are getting really excited.  I know I always bounce around my house like Tigger with pre-trip enthusiasm when I have an approaching Walt Disney World adventure.   Sue, I have 3 and 4 year-old little boys so I can understand your concern about your grandson taking off and losing his MagicBand.   I am happy to share what we did to keep our little guys MagicBands safe and secure.

Sue, my boys were so excited when the MagicBands arrived at our home.  They wanted to wear them as soon as they opened the package, however once they had them on the excitement faded pretty quickly and they wanted to take them off.   I knew that at Walt Disney World they would not want to keep them on the entire trip so both me and my husband wore our MagicBands on one arm, and one of the boys MagicBands on the other arm.    I have also seen families carry  MagicBands on a backpack, or purse strap, but I felt the most secure having them on my arm.   I've not seen an item for sale that would actually clip or keep your grandson from removing his MagicBand, but once a MagicBand is  fitted and on the wrist it's quite secure.  I've never had a MagicBand fall off even when splashing down the waterslides at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park.

Thanks for visiting us today Sue.  I hope you have a terrific time making memories with your grandson.   Please let me know if I can help you out again.   I love helping fellow Disney-loving families.

    Have a Disney Day,

    ~Jen
