Hey, there, hi, there, ho, there, Faith! You're as welcome as can be here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm glad to hEAR you have a trip coming up. For obvious reasons, outdoor dining (or as I like to say "al fresco") has become all the rage this summer. A few things to note when in-park dining initially becomes available is that you'll need valid park admission, a reservation for park entry, and a dining reservation to dine at an in-park, table-service restaurant. If you're unable to get a reservation, counter-service restaurants provide a convenient alternative, especially since Mobile Ordering is now easier than ever.
Listed below are the counter service (CS) and table service (TS) dining locations that will be open during your trip that offer outdoor seating (I made a few notes and recommendations, too). I also suggest checking out the Dining: Know Before You Go web page for reference.
Magic Kingdom Park:
*Pinocchio Village Haus (CS)
*Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe (CS)
*Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe (CS) My favorite, but plan to eat early as outdoor seating is limited.
*Tony's Town Square Restaurant- (TS) There is an outdoor seating area that sits directly off Main Street, U.S.A.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
*All counter service locations in Animal Kingdom Park offer outdoor seating areas (the exception would be Creature Comforts Coffee Shop).
*Flame Tree Barbecue (CS) My favorite as it has a view of Expedition Everest, and it sits along the water.
*Satu'li Canteen (CS) My runner up pick. Delicious and fresh food!
*Nomad Lounge (TS) This spot has cozy couches lining a wraparound porch with views of the river. Order from a menu of small plate items and a full bar. No reservations needed.
Disney's Hollywood Studios:
*All counter service locations in Hollywood Studios offer outdoor seating areas (the exception is Trolley Car Cafe)
*Backlot Express (CS)
*Rosie's All-American Café (CS)
*Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo (CS) Healthy and yummy food, but very limited outdoor seating.
*The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge (TS) Small tapas-style menu and a full bar. No reservations accepted, so it's first come first served.
EPCOT:
*Katsura Grill (CS) Beautiful views from the outdoor seating area.
*La Hacienda de San Angel (CS) The outdoor area is typically only available during lunch, however, this could change.
*Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue (CS)
*Tangierine Café (CS)
*Rose & Crown Pub (TS)
*Spice Road Table (TS) Beautiful waterfront views.
*Via Napoli (TS) There is a small outdoor seating area to the right of the restaurant's entrance and a few indoor seats with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, giving the space an airy feeling.
*Epcot International Food & Wine Festival: I love snacking my way around the "World" at the Global Marketplace Booths. The festival debuts even earlier this year on July 15!
I hope this list helps, Faith! If there's anything else we can do before your trip, don't hesitate to ask. See ya' real soon!
