I have my vacation planned, I don't have reservation number handy. How do I add a meal plan to my planned vacation?

    Hi Patricia!

I am so excited that the dining plans are back at Disney World. I love the convenience of turning my vacation into an all-inclusive resort stay where I order whatever I want at dinner and don't think about the budget!

Dining plans are only available as part of a package combined with a resort stay and theme park tickets. Don't worry though you can modify an existing vacation package to make sure that it includes a dining plan. You can just head over to your My Disney Experience account and click on My Plans. You should see your reservation in this section. If you do not see it, you find will need to find your reservation number and add it to your account. Once you locate your reservation simply click on Change Reservation and choose to add a dining plan to your package. If you are not able to apply the change yourself, call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and they will be able to help you make the change.

Before you decide which dining plan to add, I would make sure to think through your Disney dining style. If you love a good sit-down meal or character experience like me, I recommend going with the Disney Dining Plan. This option has the most value in my opinion because you can eat at some great restaurants that you may not have originally budgeted for if you were paying for them individually. Each meal includes an entree, dessert, and a specialty or alcoholic drink so it feels like you get to treat yourself! Do not forget to utilize those snacks as well. A lot of time I use them for a pastry or small treat for breakfast or to get something unique at one of EPCOT's seasonal festivals.

    Happy Planning
