Welcome to planDisney, Allison! Thanks for stopping by with your question for the Panel.
Currently, Disney is strongly recommending Guests use
Online Check-In to aid in social distancing efforts and avoid delays. Ask your sister-in-law to make sure your name is on the reservation. If she goes through the check-in process on disneyworld.com or on the
My Disney Experience app, you should be able to go to the room when it is ready. You will just need to bring your
MagicBand with you or set up the
Unlock Door feature on your smartphone.
You should also check if you are listed in your sister-in-law's
Family & Friends list on My Disney Experience. This will allow you to plan together. "Planning together is a whole lot easier when you're connected. Make dining reservations that other Guests can view in their plans. Post reminder notes that each person in your group will see. And having everyone in your family already in your list means their names can quickly be added to reservations and other plans—a big time saver." For more information on

The planDisney Panel has several
Panel Extras you may want to look over before your Disney vacation, including dining options. Check out
What Would I Order? to read a few recommendations from the Panel on what to order at some of our favorite Disney dining spots. We love the variety of food options at Walt Disney World!
Allison, I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let the Panel know if we can help you with any other questions before your visit.
Have a magical day!
Bob
