Hey, howdy, hey John! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh, boy.... you've just got a few more sleeps before arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth. What a terrific way to kick off your summer!
Yes, you might still be able to change your Disney Resort reservation. Changes made within 30 days of your arrival are subject to a fee, and may require assistance from a Cast Member. When I search for resort availability on those dates, I am seeing openings at multiple locations. That's the first encouraging step! I would try the
Build Your Vacation search tool at the top of the Disney website to check if the resort you prefer has availability.
Next, log on to
My Disney Experience and head to My Plans, look for your reservation details, and see if they still have the button next to it that says "Change Reservation"? If so, you may be able to adjust your resort selection yourself. Any change in price would be displayed before checkout.
If the website doesn't allow you to make the change yourself, I'd recommend calling
Disney Resort Reservations and asking a Cast Member for some help. They're very accommodating, and will do all they can to assure you are happy with your vacation plans!
One final comment before I go, John.
All Star Music was the Disney Resort my family chose on our very first Disney World vacation, and we made such magical memories there. It's so delightful! I love the vibe of the Value Resorts... bustling with excited families, larger than life theming, and spacious quick service dining locations that stay open early-to-late hours, and have plenty of food options. The rooms are designed extremely well, with the second bed being murphy style to free up space, and high clearance under the other bed to easily slide suitcases out of the way.
All that to say, if you end up staying with your original plans at All-Star Music, I feel certain that you'll still have a wonderful time! I hope this helps. Sending pixie dust your way!
See ya' real soon,
Tami
