    I am going on vacation the end of May. We are staying at a non Disney resort and their shuttle to Magic Kingdom leaves at 9:35 am. I am going on Sat May 28. Is this going to be too late to leave. Should I drive instead?

    Hi Dan! If I were you, I would drive. The Magic Kingdom opens at 8 a.m. on Saturday May 28. Since you're visiting during the busy Memorial Day weekend, the earlier you arrive at the park, the better chance you'll have of taking in more attractions with shorter lines. If you wait on your hotel's shuttle, you won't arrive at the Magic Kingdom until well after 10 a.m., and you'll likely find the park much more crowded than it will be at 8 a.m. You'll be amazed at how much you can accomplish in those first few hours after opening while other guests are sleeping late or waiting on their off-site hotel shuttles. Since it sounds like you'll have a car with you, I'd recommend you drive yourself to the Magic Kingdom and arrive at least thirty minutes before the park opens. You'll be able to see the fun opening ceremony, and you'll be one of the first in line for the rides.
