    Our vacation in Disney , staying at GF.Any suggestions for which day to go where.We have hopper tickets. We love the late extra hours. Already have some ddw. lunch plans but no dinner plans. Is it hard to get in th self serve. main meal lunch

    Maryann,

    I am glad to offer some suggestions for a park schedule, but you did not mention your travel dates. If you send me a question directly from my bio page with that information, as well as  particular restaurants of interest, I would be glad to put together some suggestions.

    Until then, here are three general rules I like to follow;

    • Don't feel rushed to do something the first day. If you are here for more than just a few days and are flying in, consider not visiting a park on your arrival day. Instead enjoy the pool, explore your resort, and schedule a really great opening night dinner. Something fun like Hoop Dee Doo Review, Whispering Canyon Cafe, the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, orChef Mickey's.
    • Always make the Magic Kingdom your first park. Unless there is some compelling reason why visiting there is not a good idea, or if you have been to all the parks before, I just think that this should be your first Walt Disney World experience.
    • Watch fireworks on your last night.IllumiNations, Fantasmic!, or Wishes. Any will do, but it puts a great exclamation point on your trip!
    Have a magical vacation!
