Our vacation is coming up in 6 weeks. I have already booked all of our meal reservations. I have just been told I have Celiacs Disease and can't eat any gluten products. How do I notify the resturants of my dietary restrictions. What about tray service

Hi Sarah! I'm sure it's tough to receive a diagnosis like that just before a trip you've worked so hard to plan, but I think you'll find that Walt Disney World is one of the easiest places to travel with special dietary needs.  Disney has a department dedicated to assisting guests with food allergies and intolerances. Click here to read more about dining at Disney with a special diet and to see a list of counter service restaurants in each park that can accommodate special dietary needs.

If you email SpecialDiets@DisneyWorld.com or call 407-824-5967 in advance of your trip, the Special Diets department will send you a form to complete about your dietary requirements and the restaurants in which you plan to dine. They will then make sure that each table-service restaurant has the information about your dietary needs so that the restaurant can prepare a meal for you that complies with them. When you arrive at each restaurant, you can ask to speak with a chef who can tell you which items on the menu or buffet meet your dietary requirements. The Special Diets department can also provide you with ingredient information for the foods at the quick-service restaurants.

I hope this helps! Have a magical vacation!
