    Hi, we have a vacation booked for Oct. 8-16...we really want to be able to receive free dining or 30% off of our resort (wilderness lodge)...how much of a chance do you think we will have for that happening during our time of stay?

    Hi, Jennifer! I hate to give less than perfect news to anyone, but I especially hate to tell a fellow Tennessean something I know they won't want to hear. Since Special Offers for this time period were released some time ago, and there haven't been any adjustments to the dates, I think your chances are very slim for getting one to match your travel dates.  One of the main reasons is that Walt Disney World won't have to entice Guests during this time because it is hosting the first-ever Disney Princess Cup Soccer Event. It is taking place October 10-12. With Guests coming early or staying after the event, there isn't a need to attract more Guests with Special Offers.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
