Can I utilize a pet stroller or regular stroller to carry merchandise or even waters and other things brought to the parks? Without a child or a pet. Just to help with transporting? I don’t want to be turned away at security if not!

Hi there, Patience! Thanks for strolling by planDisney with such a great question!

You’ll be glad to know that yes you can bring a stroller into the theme parks even if you’re not traveling with a child or a furry friend. As long as it meets the current size guidelines, no larger than 31” wide by 52” long, and it’s not a stroller wagon, you should have no trouble bringing it through security. Many Guests find strollers super handy for toting around backpacks, water bottles, snacks, or souvenirs during a full day in the parks.

That said, just a small word of caution...if you’re planning to leave your stroller unattended while you enjoy an attraction or a meal, it’s a good idea to keep anything especially valuable with you. While stroller parking is plentiful and Cast Members keep things well organized, Disney can’t be responsible for unattended belongings. I always try to keep my essentials in a small crossbody or backpack that’s easy to bring along.

If you’re looking for alternatives, a comfortable backpack might also do the trick. And if hydration is a priority (always a good idea in that Florida sun!), bringing a refillable water bottle is a great move. There are bottle filling stations and water fountains throughout all the parks, and you can always ask for a complimentary cup of ice water at any quick-service restaurant.

When it comes to souvenirs, one of my favorite tips is to save most of my shopping for the end of the day. That way, I’m not carrying bags through the parks all afternoon. Each park has large retail shops near the front gates, like The Emporium at Magic Kingdom or Creations Shop at EPCOT, so you can grab everything you’ve had your eye on right before you head out.

And don’t forget about lockers! They’re available near the park entrances and come in handy if you want to store things like ponchos, dry clothes, or those irresistible Mickey ears you just had to buy.

I hope this helps as you plan your practically perfect park day, Patience. Have so much fun!
