Can I utilize the annual pass holder benefits prior to activating it at the park

    Hi Donna,

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are here to help you make the most of your Walt Disney World vacations and Annual Passholder benefits. Being an Annual Passholder means more Disney magic all year long; exclusive discounts, Disney PhotoPass downloads, complimentary standard theme park parking, and Passholder exclusive MagicBand designs. With all of that you are sure to have an absolutely magical year!

While you must first activate your Annual Pass at a Walt Disney World theme park ticket window or Guest Relations location before entry into the parks, I am pleased to inform you that you do not have to activate your Annual Pass to make use of many of the wonderful benefits. If you use your annual pass to qualify for discounts on a Disney Resort Hotel, you can do so before activating your annual pass, just be sure to link your annual pass to your My Disney Experience account.

Enjoy your year of wonder in The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop back by if we can help answer any additional questions.
