Usually stay at pop want bigger beds thinking about Caribbean beach resort, concerned about no elevators, two kids upstaters in strollers at end of night doesn't sound like fun, are 1st floor requests generally honored. are preferred rooms worth the extra$

Hi Marc! Thanks for writing the Panel! You're right - the Caribbean Beach Resort is made up of many small, two story buildings with no elevators. When you reserve, make a request for ground level. I also recommend send a fax directly to the resort with your request about a week before your arrival date. The fax number is (407) 934-2736.

Preferred locations include rooms in the villages of Martinique and Trinidad North. These rooms are located on either side of Old Port Royale and close to the food court, shopping, and main pool area. The resort is a huge resort with 33 buildings, so being close most definitely has its advantages. There are internal buses that drive you around the resort, making it easier to get to the amenities if you opt not to go for a preferred room. With youngsters still in strollers, you will probably find it worth it to be closer!
