When do they usually put out the special room discount packages? We got a discount last Feb. Planning to go again next Feb. If we book our room now and they later come out with a discount can so still get the discount even if I have already booked a room?

Hello there, Jenny! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

As much as I love visiting the theme parks, I might have to say that my favorite part of my family's Walt Disney World Resort vacations is actually staying at a Disney Resort hotel! Each and every Disney Resort hotel has its own unique theme as well as a huge selection of amenities, recreation, and dining options. You could truly spend an entire vacation simply enjoying the perks of a Disney Resort hotel!

Generally, deals and special packages are posted on the Special Offers web page a few months prior to the intended arrival date. So, I would recommend checking this page a bit closer to the Fall or Winter months for February discounts.

If you would like to take advantage of a special offer once it has been posted, you can actually do so regardless of whether or not you have already made your reservation! You can do this by logging into your My Disney Experience account and pulling up your Disney Resort hotel reservation. You will then click the "Change Reservation" tab to edit your current reservation selection and apply any available discounts. Not all Disney Resort hotels are available for each special offer so you may not be able to receive a discount on your specific room reservation, though. However, I have used this as an opportunity to experience a new Disney Resort hotel room category or an entirely different Disney Resort hotel in the past!

I hope this helps you as you continue to plan for your 2020 vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
