    As usual my husband and I will be at WDW on March 1 and had planned to make dinner/cruise reservations on or about September 1. Will we be unable to do that until late in October this year because of the new system being put in place?

    Yes. Disney is about to undergo a major restructuring of its reservations system. You can read more about this HERE and HERE. The guests most impacted by this change are those, like you, that would have been making their reservations between the end of July and the end of October. None of us knows exactly how things will shakeout in October with the backlog of reservations that need to be made. My advice would be to have patience and be persistent.
