When using the Park Hopper, how would we go about checking to see if a park is available to hop to?

Hi there, Beth! I am so glad you found us here at planDisney to ask your question.

Unlike having to wait until midnight like Cinderella, once the clock strikes 2pm on any given day, you are free to move to a different Walt Disney World theme park.

By using the MyDisneyExperience mobile app, you can look to see which parks are allowing park hopping that day by clicking on the three lines in the lower right corner, and then “park hours & info”. Here, each theme park hours will show, and also “park hopper availability” and the time (2:00 pm to close). So far, the fairy godmother has granted us with all parks available whenever we plan to park hop.

It is as simple as that! My family hopped from Epcot to Disney’s Hollywood Studios using the Skyliner a couple weeks ago. We arrived at DHS around 7:00pm and went right back to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The wait time showing on the mobile app was 40 minutes, and we were boarding the attraction in 22 minutes! It was SO worth the park hop!

I hope this helps with planning for your next trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Happy Traveling (& hopping),
    Tracy

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
