Hi Brittany!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! And thank you for your service!
I can’t blame your son for wanting to ride
Flight of Passage – that’s my favorite ride at Disney World! Here’s what you’ll want to do.
Make your
park reservation for Animal Kingdom since that will be the first park of the day you plan to visit. That way, you won’t have any trouble entering that park for your Lightning Lane Single Pass.
Then when you go to purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, choose Hollywood Studios for your park! You’ll be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and make your pre-selections for your second park of the day, as long as you have a valid
park hopper linked to your account.
As long as everyone wants to ride Flight of Passage and use Lightning Lane Multi Pass in your group, you’ll be able to book both of these at the exact same time. Just make sure to click both services as you go through the prompts.
Your booking window will open 7 days prior to your check-in date at 7 AM Eastern if you’ll be staying at a Disney World resort or good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket.
In my experience, the bus that goes between Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios starts running at 10 AM; however, that time may change by the time your trip rolls around. It’s something to keep in mind as you choose your return times, though!
It’s also good to note that Lightning Lane return times are pending availability. Since you have a specific time of day you’d like to ride Flight of Passage, I’d try to book that first to give yourself the best chance at it.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
