I want to see about using my DVC points for a trip to England and France in the summer of 2025. Is there an agent to work with on this?

Welcome Home, Arthur! I’m so glad you discovered the Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney. Like the Genie, you ain't never had a friend like me, and I'm here to make some magic for your next Disney adventure!

Using your Vacation Points for a trip across the pond is something I’ve been researching lately, too! My oldest graduates from high school in 2025, which seems impossible–I feel like just yesterday I had a little Rapunzel at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!  We’re hoping to take a family trip to England and France to celebrate this milestone, and I’m happy to report that there are several options for overseas travel that DVC Members can choose from. For any of these vacations, you can exchange your Vacation Points for Reservation Points–let’s take a look, shall we?

For an international vacation with a Disney twist, Adventures by Disney offers guided family tours that go far beyond sightseeing. Their expert guides lead you off the usual tourist trail, giving you a deeper look at local culture and history. Special access and activities designed for families make these trips truly unique. A bit of Disney pixie dust means seamless planning, VIP treatment, and surprising moments that will make memories to last a lifetime!

Or perhaps you want to take to the seas for your European adventure? Disney Cruise Line offers several European and Mediterranean itineraries for Summer 2025. In particular, I see a three-night French cruise which would be simply magnifique when combined with some land-based touring!

You can also exchange points for a stay at one of the amazing hotels at Disneyland Paris. My planDisney pals Melissa and Shannon both visited recently and they have great tips to share. Members may also exchange points for a variety of non-Disney accommodations around the world through Interval International

While there is not a specific agent through DVC to use for these options, there is great information on the Member website to get you started, and the helpful folks at Member Services are a great resource to talk through plans and complete a transaction to exchange points. It’s important to note that to book any of the options I mentioned–Adventures by Disney, DCL, Disneyland Paris, or Interval–there is a one-time transaction fee (currently $95, subject to change).

I hope you are soon busy planning a practically perfect overseas adventure, Arthur! Thanks again for visiting planDisney and please don’t hesitate to reach out directly if I can help with any other questions.

    Stay Magical!
