Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christy!
Next month it is time to sail with Captain Mickey - how exciting! I bet everyday that you count down to your Disney Cruise the excitement grows. The planning and packing are always a fun way to get ready and pass the days as you wait for your vacation to start. Be sure to check out Disney Cruise Line's
packing lists for some great suggestions for what to put in your luggage!
One of the many reasons I LOVE Disney Cruise Line is how easy it is for Guests to get to and from the port from the airport. When you purchase ground transportation, you are eligible for
Onboard Airline Check-In. If your airline participates in this service, you must complete the required forms onboard (which will include your flight information including your final destination). Then, the evening before debarkation, your boarding passes and luggage tags will be left in your stateroom. Pack your bags, attach the provided luggage tags and place your bags outside your stateroom. Your stateroom host will use a little pixie dust and magically, your luggage will be delivered to your airline and arrive at your final destination! Since you will already have your boarding passes, you can go right through security and to your gate for your flight home.
If your airline is not eligible for this program, you should attach the character luggage tags provided in your stateroom and place your bags outside of your door on the last evening of your sailing. More pixie dust will be used and your bags will be waiting to join you through customs. You will need to get them to your coach to the airport and check in with your airline when you arrive.
Enjoy making magical memories! Angie
