Hey, Gina, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The
My Disney Experience mobile app is such a wonderful addition to our days in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Anytime we want to see the best attraction to head towards, we check out the current wait times. Long line at Aloha Isle to get our favorite Dole Whip Float? Just hop on the app and use
Mobile Ordering! Can't wait to get home to see how the
Disney PhotoPass picture turned out as we splashed through the briar patch on Splash Mountain? Just pull it up right in the app! It really is a magical bit of pixie dust for our smartphone.
While this mobile app can do so many things to help us during our vacation, at this time, guests are unable to use the My Disney Experience mobile app to
access admissions on their Disney Theme Park Tickets. There are a couple of different options for entering the parks. You may stop by any Will Call or Ticket Booth outside of the theme parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to pick up actual tickets that can be scanned at the Mickey touchpoints to enter the parks.
If you have active MagicBands from this current trip or previous trips, then you can
link your Disney Theme Park Tickets to the same My Disney Experience account and scan the MagicBands at the Mickey touchpoints to enter. Please note that batteries within the MagicBands tend to last around two years, so you may need to purchase new ones if they are older than that. You may also purchase
new MagicBands to link to your My Disney Experience account before your trip begins.
ShopDisney has a great selection of basic and themed MagicBands. Personally, I love the Dole Whip themed one!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. Please let us know if you have any others as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
