Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Candace! I’m glad you stopped by with your question.
Most of my vacation at
Walt Disney World Resort is planned around all the delicious cuisine I’m going to be eating, and getting a
Disney Dining Plan truly enhances it! The Disney Dining Plans add value, flexibility, and so much convenience because having paid for our family meals upfront, I know there will be no surprise expenses later on!
If there is a kids menu at the Walt Disney World
Resort restaurant you’re dining at, the specialty drink would need to be on the kid’s menu. It is at the discretion of the restaurant if whether they include the specialty beverage in the Disney Dining Plan. Usually when it comes to souvenir items like souvenir cups the specialty drinks may come in or popcorn buckets, these items are considered more as merchandise and would not be included in the Disney Dining Plans. I have paid out of pocket for a souvenir cup that I fell in love with and have no regrets! I use it quite often and it brings a little magic to my day. You can always ask once you arrive at the location and a Cast Member will be happy to explain what the restaurant’s options are.
I hope you’ve started making all your
dining reservations, Candace! Some of the well sought-after restaurant reservations such as
Be Our Guest Restaurant and
Cinderella’s Royal Table fill up quickly, so the earlier you reserve, the better! I have the pickiest eaters, but thankfully the Walt Disney World Resort restaurants offer a variety of delicious and healthy meals for all ages to enjoy!
Candace, I hope you and your family enjoy all the Mickey shaped treats on your upcoming trip!
Aena
