When using the Deluxe DDP for Lunch at Morimoto, can you order the appetizer sized portion of ribs as your appetizer? Also, how long would it take to get back to Epcot using Disney Transportation after lunch. I know the direct buses don’t start until 4 PM

Hello there, Aaron! Morimoto Asia, located in The Landings Area of Disney Springs, is the brainchild of the Japanese Iron Chef, Masaharu Morimoto. Although I've never met Chef Morimoto, I was fortunate to cruise on the Disney Fantasy this summer with the restaurant's executive chef, and he invited us to try some of his favorite dishes once we got back on land. I'm not exaggerating when I say this meal blew me away! I'd be happy to answer your questions and give you a few suggestions as well.

The Disney Dining Plan is accepted at Morimoto Asia, and the great news is that while two table-service credits are required for dinner, lunch at Morimoto Asia only requires one table-service credit. Since you have the Deluxe Dining Plan, each guest in your party will be able to order an appetizer, an entrée, a dessert, and a beverage (Guests over 21 can order alcoholic drinks, and I give a big thumbs up to the Sake Sangria). I called Morimoto Asia today at (407) 939-6686, and the Cast Member informed me that appetizers can include one item from the Small Plates, Dim Sum, Sushi Rolls, or a cup of Soup; in my humble opinion, you have not lived until you have tried Portobello French fries! If you want to order the Half Rack of Morimoto Spare Ribs (and I strongly suggest you do), you'll have to get it as your entrée. These are very sharable, however, and you could always split another entrée selection from the menu with someone else in your party. My favorite is the Morimoto "Buri-Bop." It's going to be hard, but try to save room for the Churro Fondue- you'll be stuffed, but it's worth it!

Even though Walt Disney World Resort offers direct transportation from the Parks to Disney Springs after 4:00 PM, at the time of this writing, there is no direct bus from Disney Springs to any of the Parks. The quickest route is to take the bus to Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort (which will be about a 15-minute ride once you're on board) and take the five-minute walk to the International Gateway at Epcot.

Aaron, I have a Rumbly in my Tumbly just thinking about the outstanding meal you're going to have! If you have any other vacation planning questions, remember we're all ears!
