When using the DDP is the potato soup at BOG considered a snack credit or counter serv credit. Thank you!

Bonjour, Eileen! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There are so many delicious entrees at Be Our Guest Restaurant - don't believe me? Ask the dishes! While we have tasted almost every item at this dining location, there is one dish that I have to order each visit - the Potato Leek soup. Oh, that soup is never second best!

When dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant during lunch service, you are welcome to use your Disney Dining Plan entitlements. Each guest will be able to order an entree and choice of beverage while redeeming one Quick Service meal entitlement. In my experience, I have been able to include a cup of the Potato Leek Soup with my meal and utilize a Snack entitlement. This is subject to change at any time, so be sure to check with the Cast Member when ordering to ensure it is still allowed. The best way to determine if a menu item is snack-credit eligible is to look for the purple and white Disney Dining Plan logo listed next to the item on the menu board.

You are welcome to peruse the full menu and pre-order your lunch in advance of your dining reservation. Simply pull up your reservations within My Disney Experience and you should see a button to begin your order. Once you check in at the podium found at the foot of the Beast's Castle bridge, a Cast Member will escort you into the restaurant. There, another Cast Member will go over your order and deduct the appropriate entitlements from your Disney Dining Plan.

Thank you for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any other questions!
