Ahoy there, Alayna!
Welcome back to planDisney! A vacation with Disney Cruise Line must be in your plans, and I'm sure you can't wait to experience all Captains Mickey and Minnie have planned for you on the high seas. With
activities for sailors of all ages and amazing ports of call, you'll love every minute of your magical voyage.
One of the most unique parts of a cruise vacation is waking up with a new view each day! I am glad to hear you'll be venturing off the ship to enjoy the itinerary you've chosen for your crew. If you haven't already, check out the
Port Adventures that will be offered so you can start planning now!
Alayna,
travel documentation is an important part of the planning process, so I'm glad you asked for clarification. Disney Cruise Line recommends
all Guests travel with a valid U.S. passport; birth certificates are acceptable on closed-loop cruises that begin and end at the same port in the United States. During check-in at the cruise terminal, you'll present your children's original state-issued birth certificates, but that will be the only time until disembarkation. When you explore the various ports of call on your itinerary, you will only need to have their "Key to the World" cards to embark the ship. All Guests 18 and older will also need photo identification for embarkation at each port of call.
Thank you again for cruising by, Alayna. If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Happy planning,
Nancy
