There used to be a place on the Disney website where u could find classes for kids that I can no longer find. 1 of the classes was like kids learning how a particular ride worked. Now my kids r old enough, but I can’t find them. Do u know where to access?

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Robin!

As a former teacher, my of my favorite Walt Disney quotes has always been, "Our greatest national resource is the minds of our children." I believe the classes you are referring to are the Disney Youth Education Series during which instructors teach hand-on lessons using the theme parks as their classroom. The courses include subjects like leadership, arts & humanities, applied sciences, and environmental studies. Wouldn't the Laws of Motion be so much more interesting if you could learn them while riding Space Mountain?

The Disney Youth Education Series experiences are available year-round, seven days a week, but the catch is that they are only available to groups of ten or more. These workshops are popular with Scouting organizations, youth groups, and clubs. I encourage you to contact them at (877) 939-6884 for more information. Perhaps your kids are involved with an organization that would qualify. Also, check out the Disney Parks Blog for a video about NBA star, Aaron Gordon, and his recent experience with his youth group, CodeOrlando, who learned about the magic behind The Haunted Mansion in the Energy and Waves Physics Lab Workshop.

I hope this helps, Robin! If you have any other questions, remember we're all EARs!
