Hi! There used to be a Pirates Cruise for families that left from the GF during which you could watch the fireworks while on the water--do they still have it? Thanks for your help--love the panel!!!

    Hi, Elizabeth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks so much for your kind words. We Moms & Dads love helping Guests plan magical vacations!

I believe the cruise you are referring to is the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage -- and, yes, it is still in operation -- but the cruise now departs from Disney's Contemporary Resort marina. My family recently experienced this specialty cruise during our May visit to Walt Disney World and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We had a great time meeting some surprise Disney characters, enjoying snacks and sweet treats, and being entertained by our pirate host Patch with songs, jokes and even a Disney trivia game (with prizes!). The view of the Wishes fireworks show from the water is truly breathtaking! We also loved the seeing the Electrical Water Pageant from our boat. The cruise is great fun for families, but also for couples and even solo travelers. On our particular cruise evening, there were several couples celebrating their anniversaries!

The Pirates & Pals Voyage departs Friday through Monday; the adventure begins one hour and 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of Wishes. Simply call 407-WDW-PLAY for reservations.

Yo ho ho, it's a pirate's life for you!

Come visit me again here at the Moms Panel with any other questions. I'd be happy to help you continue to plan your "Disney time."
