Ka-chow, Chuck.
I'm so glad you followed Lightning McQueen from Radiator Springs and cruised your way here to planDisney! There's nothing better than having another
Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon, don't you agree? A double dose of Disney magic? Yes, please!
Chuck, once a
MagicBand is linked to your
My Disney Experience account,
it cannot be transferred to or used by another person. Because you used your MagicBand on your previous vacation,
you will be able to use it again on this trip to enter the
theme parks, link your
Disney PhotoPass photos, open your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel room door,
charge purchases to your Disney Resort room, and more. If you want to use it to make charges to your room, just be sure to stop by the Front Desk and set up a PIN code with one of the friendly Cast Members there first.
Now, you will want to make sure your MagicBand is still active ahead of your vacation. You can do this easily in your
My Disney Experience app. Click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your home screen. Scroll down and select "My Profile," then click on "MagicBands & Cards." Select the box that says "Your MagicBands & Cards." You will see a list of all MagicBands and cards assigned to you. Look at the ID number on the back-center of your MagicBand and find the matching ID number on the list of your MagicBands. If it says "Active" next to the ID number, you are good to go. If it says "Inactive," just click on that MagicBand and select "Activate" to restore it to its usable state.
Chuck, if you think of any other questions, please don't hesitate to stop by
planDisney again. We're all in this together, and we want to make sure your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth during
The World's Most Magical Celebration is everything you've been dreaming of and more.
Happy planning,
Alyssa
