We have used the Disney Dining Plan for our last few trips, and feel that it is worth it for our group of hungry visitors. Since we are now DVC members, is it still a good deal, or should we just use our DVC discount?

Hi, Gerald! Welcome to the joys of Disney Vacation Club membership. I hope you find you enjoy your DVC experience as much as my family has.

The Disney Dining Plans are still a very popular option for DVC families. I know many of them that often add one of the dining plans to their stays, in some cases because it's a great way to budget for your meals when you head off on vacation.

As DVC members, you will be able to take advantage of many dining discounts through the DVC Membership Magic Benefits. You'll find a number of restaurants offer a 10-20% discount on some meals and snacks available throughout Walt Disney World.

One other benefit you may want to consider as you weigh your dining options is the Tables in Wonderland card. Available only to DVC members, Annual Passholders, and Florida Residents, this card offers a 20% food and beverage (including alcohol) discount at more than 100 Disney dining locations. This is the option my family and I usually take advantage of. There is a fee associated with the card, but it always ends up being a great deal for us.

Welcome again to the DVC family! Thank you so much, Gerald, for your question.
