I have used my credit card to hold a reservation at the Akershus Royal Banquet on Sept.28. The reservation is for my mom, sister, son and niece. I will be eating somewhere else that night. Do I need to be there since it is my credit card on file?

    Hi Heather,

You do not need to be there for dinner. Your credit card is used to hold the reservation in the event you do not cancel your reservation prior to the cancellation period. If you do not provide enough notice, your card will be charged.

However, when your family has dinner, they will need to provide payment. They can use a Disney Dining Plan credit, a credit card or cash to pay for this meal.

I hope they have a wonderful time at Akershus.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
