We used Credit Card A to book our WDW package and dining reservations. However, we'd actually like to use Credit Card B for purchases when we're at WDW. Is that possible? Are magic bands automatically linked if staying onsite (CBR)?

    Jaime,

Thanks for your question to planDisney!

So yes, you can use different credit cards for different purchases. All you need to do is add the second credit card to your My Disney Experience App. When I visit I will often have one card for souvenirs, and maybe another for dining expenses.

When you have that app on your phone, you can add your different credit cards as other payment options. To do so, on the mobile app, follow these steps.

    1. Click on the three horizontal bars icon in the lower right corner of the app.
    2. Select "My Profile"
    3. Select "Payment Method"
    4. You will see "+ Add a Payment Method". Click on that and you can add your credit card number.
    5. This will make using that payment method even easier, specifically when using the Mobile Online Ordering for food or the Shop In Store feature for souvenirs on the app.
One important note. Do remember when you make a purchase that you indicate the credit card that you want to charge during the ordering process. All purchase options will be there, including in some cases Apple Pay, so make sure to pick the right one. If you just use your Magic Band it is going to bill over to your resort hotel account, and likely then to your original credit card.

To your final question, yes, your Magic Bands are linked to your resort hotel account, as long as all the hotel reservation is on your My Disney Experience account.

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
