Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel, Jennifer! Thank you for bringing us your question.
Walt Disney World's new
Memory Maker program is perfect for large groups traveling to Disney together. You have already taken the first step of linking all the members of your traveling party in My Disney Experience. This will then link all their photos to you, as the Memory Maker 'owner'.
Once you are in the parks, each member of your group should get a PhotoPass card from one of the photographers or ride photo counters. They can then begin collecting photos using that card. To collect a photo they will simply present the card to the photographer or at the ride photo counter. When all the photos are collected they can either give all the cards to you or they can log into their own My Disney Experience account and enter their card number.
A hint to preempt any catastrophes: Have each person take a picture of the back of their PhotoPass card. This way, if they should lose it, they will still have the number on the back. They would then just get another PhotoPass card the next time they have a photo taken.
I hope this answers your questions. If you have any other questions please come back and see me. We love helping Guests plan for their Disney adventure.
Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
