Thanks for stopping by to discuss upcoming changes to the Lightning Lane reservation system. We appreciate your patience as we assist all Guests anxious to use the new plan-ahead feature. Let's discuss how the launch of
Lightning Lane passes will work with your stay.
When you arrive for your summer vacation on July 19th,
Disney Genie+ Service will still be available. You are welcome to purchase this July 19th through the 23rd. At 7:00 in the morning on July 24th, you can buy Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass for that day and the rest of your stay (up to 14 days). This will be a busy morning for the My Disney Experience mobile app, so pack your patience and maybe have a cup of coffee or snack ready to go when you sign in!
When you're ready to
purchase Lightning Lane passes, open the
My Disney Experience mobile app and look for the Lightning Lane icon that will appear on the home screen. Tap the icon and follow the prompts to complete your purchase. You'll need to select a date and theme park first, then choose your Lightning Lane product (Multi Pass, Single Pass, or both). After finalizing your purchase, you'll see a confirmation screen. From here, you can opt to "Plan Another Day" if you want to buy Lightning Lane passes for a different vacation day. If you're done for now and want to set down your mobile device and get ready for your adventures, tap "View My Day" to see a list of your selected experiences.
