Hello! 6 of us are staying in a 2-BR Villa at Wilderness Lodge starting 2/28. My son is 2 1/2, my dad walks with a cane. Is the walk from the Villas at WL to the boat and from the boat to MK very long? Any tips on stroller rental or other helpful ideas?

    Hi MaryLouise,

The Wilderness Lodge is my husband's favorite resort to stay at when we are in Walt Disney World.

The walk is longer from the villas to the boat than the boat to Magic Kingdom. The villas to the boat takes you from one side of the property to the other and then it is a walk from there. I would estimate it is about a 5-7 minute walk for someone in good shape.

The walk from the boat to the Magic Kingdom is much shorter. It should only take a few minutes to make your way up to the entrance.

As for the stroller rental, we just rented from Magic Strollers. The stroller was clean and they brought us a double stroller when we needed to upgrade with no hassle. It was waiting for us at the resort and we returned it there.

My best tip-stick to your child's schedule and slow down. You can always come back!

    Have a magical vacation!
