Ahoy Orfilio!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am excited to hEAR you are planning a high seas adventure to Disney's private island,
Castaway Cay! It is my favorite place to sail to with Captain Mickey.
To board any of the
Disney Cruise Line ships to the
Bahamas, the appropriate
passport and travel documentation is required.
If you plan to travel without an original valid U.S. Passport, there are other forms of identification that can fulfill the documentation requirements to sail. If you are a legal, U.S. permanent citizen, you can provide a valid original Legal Permanent Resident Card. An original Certificate of Naturalization issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services can also be presented along with a government issued photo identification card to fulfill the documentation requirements. Photocopies of these documents cannot be accepted to board a Disney Cruise Line ship.
Documentation requirements are subject to change, so be sure to review the passport and travel documentation requirements prior to your sailing and visit the U.S. State Department's website for more information.
I hope to "see ya real soon" sailing onboard one of the magical Disney Cruise Line ships! Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you may have while you plan your adventure.
Bon voyage! Angie
