I am us our debit card to check in and for the magic bands. Do they check my card balance when I check in and do they put a hold on our card? I only ask because we get paid when we are in Disney and prefer to use that debit card for check in and purchases

    Hi Megan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I usually use my debit card as the card on file when we visit Walt Disney World Resort and I have never encountered any problems. I do not believe any kind of hold has been placed on my card. All purchases made with your MagicBand will be charged to your room and that balance will not be debited until the end of your stay. You can speak with a Cast Member at the Front Desk when you check in if you have any concerns.

Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions before your visit to Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
