Hi Aliana!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm so glad you're preparing to have such an incredible time at the Walt Disney World Resort! The
Disney Dining Plans help make vacations so much more easier with the convenience of paying for the meals in advance for your trip.
Unfortunately, there is no option to add a dining plan for only a portion of the Guests on your reservation, so your additional Guest would also get entitlements for the reservation. However, since you will have two rooms, it is possible to use one of the rooms with the dining plan (as long as the room can accommodate up to three Guests) and the other room for the Guest who prefers to not use a dining plan.
Your Guest will not need to purchase a
Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket if they are not planning on entering the Parks. Remember, you are free to use your dining entitlements in whichever order you choose. If you dine with the Guest who will not be on the dining plan, inform the Cast Member who is serving you about who all is planning on using their entitlements.
Aliana, I do hope you are making
advanced dining reservations, especially for character meals. We had breakfast recently at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and I cannot say enough great things about it! I'm still gushing about the characters and the incredible meal! Since the restaurant is at
Disney's Riviera Resort, no theme park tickets are needed and your Guest would also be able to join the party!
Have a magical time!
Aena
