Aloha Cherry, and thank you for stopping by
planDisney! Just thinking of
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort invokes tropical island vibes and daydreams of paradise. It is such a beautiful resort with incredible theming found throughout and with the upcoming refurbishments and enhancements planned, I think it will be even more magical when it reopens to Guests next summer. I am pleased to inform you that while
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is closed and will remain closed for the refurbishment process,
Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows are available for new reservations. What could be better than staying in a 2-Bedroom overwater bungalow in
The Most Magical Place on Earth?
Please note that the
monorail service to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be temporarily suspended beginning in early October 2020 due to the upcoming refurbishment. The walkway to the Transportation and Ticket Center will remain open, where Guests may access the monorail and ferry boats to
Magic Kingdom Park. There will also be bus transportation provided between Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and
EPCOT,
Disney’s Hollywood Studios,
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park,
Disney Springs, and beginning early October 2020,
Magic Kingdom Park.
I hope that this information helps you to plan your next Disney vacation. Remember that you’ve got a friend in us here at
planDisney, so please stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions!
