Hi Jason,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
You are going to love being a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder. I should warn you, though, it becomes very tempting to dash to Central Florida as often as you can get away once you have that magical ticket connected to your
My Disney Experience account!
Most theme park admission tickets can be upgraded with a stop in any
Guest Relations office. Keep in mind, in order to be eligible to upgrade, you must use at least one entitlement and have at least one remaining, so be sure to enter a theme park at least once.
When you arrive at Guest Relations, they can check the specifics on your theme park admission ticket. Generally, Guests are asked to pay the difference between then value of the particular package that you have and the cost of the new admission ticket or Annual Pass.
While it is true that the
Disney Platinum Plus Pass does include unlimited PhotoPass downloads,
Memory Maker is a non-refundable ticket enhancement. This would be appropriate to mention while completing the upgrade at Guest Relations.
I hope that helps, Jason. Please let us know how else we can assist you as you plan a full year of unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacations.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
