Hello, I upgraded early from a pixie pass to a pirate pass. My pixie pass expires on September.4 2024 can I use my pirate pass in August so I can visit the parks on the weekends or am I stuck with a pixie bass until September?

    Hi Cynthia,

Thanks for joining us here at planDisney! As a Disney Annual Passholder, I am sure you have plenty of Disney Parks tips and tricks for your friends & family. That means you know what an honor it is to share our passion with people! Thank you for giving us this opportunity. There is nothing like it.

If I understand correctly, you have stopped by to chat with the friendly Cast Members at Guest Services to upgrade your current Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass from a Disney Pixie Dust Pass to a Disney Pirate Pass, and paid the difference between the two. If that is correct, then it sounds to me like you should be getting your walking shoes ready because you are heading to Disney Parks, even on the weekends! (Subject to blockout dates and with a theme park reservation, of course!)

If I misread the question and you have purchased a Disney Pirate Pass to begin in September, but are still a Disney Pixie Dust Passholder currently, then you can make the very most of your weekday visits until your calendar opens up a little next month.

You should be able to verify your Passholder status in your My Disney Experience Mobile App. Simply open the app and select My Tickets and Passes in the top left corner. There, you should see your Disney Annual Pass and a scanner code. As long as you are currently a Disney Pirate Passholder, make a theme park reservation and head out!

I hope that was helpful, Cynthia. Please come on back and let us know if you have any other questions. planDisney is here to help you make the most magical memories.

    Adventure is out there,

    Sally
